What self-leadership means
Self-leadership is the ability to understand yourself, manage your energy and behaviour, make intentional choices and continue adapting as circumstances change.

A Life Shaped by
Self-Leadership
My journey has been defined by the peaks I’ve climbed and the internal transitions required to summit them. From a high-pressure corporate career as an APAC HR leader to facing significant health challenges and eventually finding my voice as a mountaineer and coach, every step taught me that performance is only sustainable when we lead ourselves first.
Building a career while raising my son as a sole parent taught me to lead with responsibility, resilience and purpose.
Carrying Responsibility
Rebuilding My Health
Transforming my health and recovering from surgery taught me that progress depends on energy, patience and consistency.
Beginning a New Mountain
Leaving corporate life to build Genesis taught me to trust my experience, embrace uncertainty and create work aligned with my purpose.
Reinventing Myself
Changing career directions and growing into APAC leadership taught me to remain adaptable and keep learning.
Redefining Success
Turning back on Mount Kilimanjaro and returning years later taught me that self-leadership sometimes means adjusting the goal, not abandoning it.
